Shannon Subasi, DVM, CVMMP, FEIPTV

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Certified Veterinary Medicine Manipulation Practitioner (Chiropractic), FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian

Dr. Subasi is a graduate of The Virginia – Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing since 2013. Dr. Subasi veterinary focuses include chiropractic, general health and wellness, lameness, and emergency care.

In her spare time, you will probably find Shannon spending time with her two girls and husband, enjoying and sharing her love of horses as well as skiing and hiking in the great outdoors.

Veterinary Technicians

Technicians are trained to work under supervision of a licensed veterinarian to assist in special procedures and patient care. Their role is very similar to the role nurses serve in human healthcare. Dr. Subasi also feels strongly about supporting students interested in veterinary medicine and will take on students as assistants. Room and board will be provided on a limited basis. Zoe is an experienced small animal, livestock and equine assistant. She is currently taking online courses to get her Veterinary Technician Certification through Penn Foster.

Samantha Phiilips

Samantha has been a dedicated member of the team, working alongside Dr. Shannon for nearly a year. A graduate of the Minnesota School of Horseshoeing, Samantha is currently midway through the Ashworth Veterinarian Technician program, showcasing her commitment to ongoing education within the field.

Her journey into the veterinary industry began during her childhood, where her passion for working with horses blossomed. Samantha now oversees her own small funny farm, a testament to her enduring love for animals. What she values most about her work is the unique personalities and spirits that each animal possesses.

Samantha’s professional journey became clear when she realized that she not only fit in effortlessly but also felt a profound sense of acceptance among the animals she cares for. The satisfaction she derives from aiding them is a constant source of accomplishment.

Beyond the veterinary clinic, Samantha finds joy in outdoor activities, particularly working with cattle. Her interests extend beyond the professional realm, reflecting a well-rounded individual dedicated to both her career and personal pursuits.
